“Iron man” by Rema listed in Obama’s summer playlist

Former president of the United States, Barack Obama has released his summer playlist and Nigeria’s fast rising rapper Rema was spotted on the list.

Every year, the Obamas release a list of songs they listen to and this year’s summer list featured both old school and new school artistes.

Some of the artistes the Obamas are listening to this summer include, Drake, jamaican danchall sensation Koffee and Nigeria’s Rema.

Mavin Records signee Rema’s hit song “Iron man” was 42nd on the list, two places behind Lil Nas X’s “Old town road”

In his post, Barack Obama wrote:

“With summer winding down, here’s a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to — some new, some old, some fast, some slow. Hope you enjoy.”
